The Schipperke, Non Sporting Group, is alert, curious, and confident. They are very active, energetic, and agile little watchdogs. The temperament is intense, but with a dash of mischief and impudence. The Schipperke loves walking, playing and exploring. He is a happy participant in whatever activity is going on. The Schipperke sheds several times a year but the coat only needs a weekly brushing.
